Short answer
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser: no localStorage, no sessionStorage, nothing. We checked this against the actual production build rather than assuming it: every page was served from a real deployment and inspected for Set-Cookie headers and browser-storage calls, and none exist. We do run one analytics script (see "What about analytics?" below); it changes nothing here, because it touches no cookie and no browser storage either.
Why there is no cookie banner
A cookie banner asks for consent to something. Since this site does not set cookies or use similar tracking technology, there is nothing to ask consent for, under Lebanese law or under the EU and UK rules on cookies (the ePrivacy Directive). Adding a banner anyway would tell you something false about a site that has none, so we have not added one.
What about analytics?
We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics script, to count page views. It sets no cookie and writes nothing to your browser's storage, so it does not change the answer above. The consent rules on this page are about accessing or storing information on your device; Plausible does neither. See our privacy notice for exactly what it collects.
The one image that touches a third party
Our TakafolSouq case study shows a screenshot that includes an OpenStreetMap-rendered map. It is a static image, captured once and saved to this site. Your browser never talks to OpenStreetMap's servers to view it, and it sets no cookie of its own. See that page for the required map-data credit.
If this ever changes
If we ever add anything that does use cookies or local storage, this page will say so, and we will ask for your consent first wherever the law requires it.
